Dan brings over 30 years of hands-on experience in the chimney industry, having started in middle school as part of his family’s chimney business. With a lifetime of real-world knowledge under his belt, he’s still just as passionate today about the craft as he was back then.
He holds certifications as a Certified Chimney Sweep through the Chimney Safety Institute of America and as a Certified Chimney Professional through the National Chimney Sweep Guild, a testament to his expertise and commitment to quality.
Dan is an active member of the chimney community. He has attended national and regional industry events including NCSG conventions in Las Vegas (2022) and Connecticut (2023), and Oregon Chimney Sweep Association conferences in Newport (2022), Vancouver (2024), and Bend (2025). He’s not just attending—he’s giving back. Dan has taught multiple hands-on masonry classes at OCSA events, helping to train the next generation of chimney professionals.
Outside of work, Dan is a dedicated husband to Shannon (who also happens to be his business partner) and a proud dad. Their family includes a lively crew of dogs and an 18-year-old son. When he’s not up on a roof, you’ll probably find him off-roading, playing basketball, or working on his rigs.
Dan’s steady presence, deep knowledge, and genuine care for both people and the trade make him someone clients, coworkers, and friends count on without hesitation.

Meet Shannon – The Heart of the Operation
Shannon is the organizational backbone of Next Level Chimneys, managing everything behind the scenes with clarity, care, and a deep understanding of the people her business serves. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Community Psychology from the University of Washington Bothell, which informs her thoughtful, customer-first approach to business.
She’s a Certified Chimney Sweep through the Chimney Safety Institute of America, a Certified Chimney Professional through the National Chimney Sweep Guild, and is also certified by the Oregon Chimney Sweep Association, which has served as the secretary of since 2024.
Shannon actively attends industry events to stay current and connected. She’s participated in NCSG conventions (Las Vegas 2022 and Connecticut 2023) and OCSA conferences (Newport 2022, Vancouver 2024, and Bend 2025), gaining valuable insight and building strong relationships with others who care deeply about the trade.
Outside of work, Shannon shares life with her husband and business partner, Dan, along with their three dogs—a Pomeranian, Malinois, and Pit Bull. When she’s not managing schedules or certification paperwork, you’ll probably find her on a woodland trail, snuggled up with the dogs, or planning their next off-road adventure.

Jesse is a certified chimney technician and a key part of the team at Next Level Chimneys, where he manages most of our jobs in the field and plays a major role in training new team members. With his Certified Chimney Sweep credential from the Chimney Safety Institute of America and certification from the Oregon Chimney Sweep Association, Jesse brings a high level of skill, leadership, and consistency to every job site.
He’s especially known for his expertise in masonry repair and restoration, offering top-tier craftsmanship that sets the standard in our company. Whether it’s a chimney sweep, inspection, or full masonry rebuild, Jesse delivers precise, professional results—and he’s earned five-star reviews across the board because of it.
Jesse has attended major industry events, including the 2023 National Chimney Sweep Guild Convention in Connecticut and the 2024 and 2025 OCSA Conferences in Vancouver and Bend. He stays up to date on best practices and new developments, ensuring the work we do is not only solid but current with the latest codes and standards.
As a lead technician and mentor in the field, Jesse helps shape the future of our team by modeling integrity, craftsmanship, and reliability on every job. He’s someone both our team and our customers count on without hesitation.
