About Next Level Chimneys
Family-Owned. Customer-Focused. Built on Craftsmanship.
Next Level Chimneys is a family-owned chimney company based in Snohomish, Washington. We specialize in chimney inspections, sweeping, masonry restoration, fireplace repairs, and wood stove installations throughout King and Snohomish Counties.
Our goal has never been to become the biggest chimney company—we simply want to be the company we’d hire ourselves. That means taking the time to educate our customers, documenting everything with photos, performing repairs that last, and treating every home with the same care we’d expect in our own.
We believe the best chimney work combines old-school craftsmanship with modern training. That’s why our team regularly attends regional and national industry conferences, stays current on changing codes and best practices, and remains actively involved in the chimney industry.
Shannon H.
Operations Manager
If you’ve called, emailed, or texted Next Level Chimneys, chances are you’ve talked with Shannon.
Shannon is the voice behind Next Level Chimneys, handling customer communication, scheduling, estimates, marketing, and the countless day-to-day tasks that keep the business running. She enjoys helping homeowners understand their chimney systems and making the repair process as straightforward and stress-free as possible.
She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Community Psychology from the University of Washington Bothell before joining the chimney industry full time. Today, she is a CSIA Certified Chimney Sweep, an NCSG Certified Chimney Professional, and an OCSA Certified Chimney Sweep.
Shannon is also actively involved in the chimney industry. She has served as Secretary of the Oregon Chimney Sweep Association since 2024 and currently serves as Membership Director for the Golden State Chimney Sweep Guild. She regularly attends industry conferences and continuing education events to stay up to date on evolving codes, products, and best practices.
Outside of work, Shannon enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and spoiling the family’s four dogs—a Pomeranian, a West Highland Terrier, a Belgian Malinois, and a Pit Bull.
Dan H.
Master Chimney Technician
Dan has been working on chimneys for over 30 years, getting his start in his family’s chimney business while he was still in middle school. What started as helping after school quickly became a lifelong career built around craftsmanship, problem-solving, and doing things the right way.
Today, Dan specializes in masonry restoration, chimney rebuilds, wood stove installations, and solving the kinds of chimney problems that don’t always have a straightforward answer. He believes every repair should be completed as though he’ll be the one coming back to inspect it twenty years from now.
Dan is a CSIA Certified Chimney Sweep and an NCSG Certified Chimney Professional. He currently serves as the President of the Oregon Chimney Sweep Association, teaches hands-on masonry classes for other chimney professionals, and regularly attends continuing education events throughout the country to stay current with the latest codes, products, and techniques.
When he’s not on a roof, you’ll probably find him in the shop making slow but steady progress on his custom rock bouncer—a project that’s been “almost finished” for more than five years whenever work allows. He also built a lifted, open-top 1995 Chevy Suburban that he enjoys taking to off-road parks, races, and even the occasional demolition derby. Whether it’s a chimney or an off-road rig, Dan loves figuring out how things work and building them to last.
Jesse B.
Lead Chimney Technician
Jesse is the lead field technician at Next Level Chimneys and one of the people customers are most likely to meet during an inspection or repair. Known for his attention to detail and friendly, professional approach, Jesse has become a technician that many customers specifically request by name.
Jesse is both a CSIA Certified Chimney Sweep and an OCSA Certified Chimney Sweep. He performs everything from routine chimney inspections and cleanings to complex masonry repairs and chimney rebuilds. He has developed a strong reputation for quality craftsmanship and takes pride in helping homeowners understand the condition of their chimney and the repairs being recommended.
In addition to working in the field, Jesse helps train new technicians and regularly attends continuing education events to stay current on new products, installation techniques, building codes, and industry standards. His commitment to quality workmanship and customer service has earned him numerous five-star reviews and made him an invaluable member of the Next Level Chimneys team.
J F.
Chimney Technician
J joined the Next Level Chimneys team in October and has been a great addition ever since. He enjoys working with his hands, learning new skills, and isn’t afraid to jump into a challenge. His positive attitude and willingness to learn have helped him quickly become a valuable member of the crew, especially when it comes to masonry work.
Originally from California, J moved to Washington when he was 18 and has been enjoying the Pacific Northwest ever since. Outside of work, he loves spending time outdoors, especially fishing for trout whenever he gets the chance. He’s also a fan of disc golf and billiards, but above all else, he’s most proud of being a dad.
Whether he’s on a roof, mixing mortar, or helping a customer better understand their chimney, J brings a friendly attitude and a strong work ethic to every job.
